Municipal corporations in Delhi are using drones to spray disinfectants over slums, markets, high-rise buildings and other congested areas where water tankers and motorised pumps cannot go. Areas that have so far been sprayed with disinfectants using drones include Janakpuri, Nizamuddin, Palam, Sadar Bazar, and Haiderpur, among others. The disinfectant uses a solution of 1% sodium hypochlorite.
