The Election Commission has issued a notice to BJP candidate Sunny Deol for violating the Model Code of Conduct. Deol reportedly held a public meeting in Punjab's Pathankot on Friday night during the silent period, when election campaigning is banned. The Commission also found that loudspeaker was used in the public meeting which was attended by around 200 people.
