Britisher Fiona Mackeown, whose daughter was sexually abused before her death in Goa in 2008, on Sunday said she can understand the pain of Nirbhaya's mother. "It's painful for the family to wait for justice for so long," Mackeown added. The Bombay High Court in 2019 sentenced a local to 10 years of imprisonment in Mackeown's daughter's rape and murder.
