Online medical stores will not be allowed to stock medicines and will be required to partner with offline retail pharmacies to deliver drugs to consumers, reportedly as per the Health Ministry's revised draft regulations for e-pharmacies. The revision reportedly follows offline pharmacists arguing that easy availability of drugs could be misused. The first draft was released in August 2018.
