Even as the Indian stock markets traded near record levels following a sharp decline in COVID-19 cases and easing of curbs, investments into equity mutual funds fell last month. Net inflows into equity and equity-linked schemes tumbled nearly 40% over the preceding month to ₹5,988.2 crore in June, as per the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).
