Ex-Delhi MLA & 1984 anti-Sikh riots case convict dies of COVID-19

Former Delhi MLA Mahender Yadav, who was serving a 10-year jail sentence in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case has died due to COVID-19-related complications at a hospital, officials said on Sunday. The 70-year-old was lodged in Delhi's Mandoli Jail and tested positive for COVID-19 on June 26. His family shifted him to a private hospital in Dwarka on June 30.
