A case of extortion has been registered against former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh at the Marine Drive Police Station, Mumbai Police said. The complainant, a businessman, claimed that Singh demanded ₹15 crore from him. The FIR names a total of eight people including six police personnel. Two civilians have been arrested in this matter so far.
