Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Baramulla district president Irshad Rasool Kar on Friday joined the National Conference in presence of party president Farooq Abdullah. Welcoming him to the party, Abdullah said, "We hope just like his father, he will work dedicatedly for the welfare of people." Kar is the son of Congress stalwart late Ghulam Rasool Kar.
