The Maldives halted Pakistan's attempt to target India on Islamophobia at a Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) meet on Friday. Maldives representative Thilmeeza Hussain said, "In this case, let me state that singling out India, the largest democracy in the world...home to over 200 million Muslims, alleging Islamophobia would be factually incorrect...Islam has existed in India for centuries."
