Karnataka Higher Education Minister CN Ashwath Narayan said that fee hike for private engineering colleges in the state for the academic year 2022-23 has been capped at 10% against the 25% demand. The government has also decided to merge Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) entrance exam with the Common Entrance Test (CET) from next year.
