A brand new football pitch costing ₹2 crore was damaged after stock cars drove over it at Irish football club Ballymena United's home ground, Ballymena Showgrounds. The stadium is owned by Mid and East Antrim Council, which leases it to both the club and Ballymena Raceway. "The club is deeply unsatisfied with protective measures," a tweet by the club read.
