American multinational automaker Ford has said it plans to fire over 5,000 employees in Germany in a bid to boost European operations profitability. It further announced it will fire a yet-to-be-decided number of employees in Britain as well. This comes after Ford recently also announced US job cuts as part of the global reorganisation announced last year.
