Google has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) system to predict when a patient will die. It can also forecast how long people may stay in hospitals, as well as their chances of re-admission. In one particular instance, Google's algorithm was able to detect the mortality risk of a cancer patient at 19.9%, which was more accurate than the hospital's computers.
