A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking a detailed legal framework for regulating fintech companies such as Google, Facebook and Amazon. The petition claims that unregulated operation of such companies in financial sector can lead to financial crisis. The High Court has issued notice to RBI, SEBI, NPCI and IRDAI seeking their stand on the plea.
