The Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed media reports on a stone pelting incident in Srinagar's Soura region. "Miscreants mingled with people returning home after prayers...They resorted to unprovoked stone pelting against law enforcement forces to cause widespread unrest," it added. However, the MHA reiterated that no bullets have been fired in J&K since the revocation of Article 370.
