Traders' body CAIT said it has received assurances from the government that stringent changes will be made to foreign investment rules for e-commerce. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal has told CAIT the government will address concerns about alleged violations of the current rules. Earlier, CAIT had accused Amazon of violating norms of the FDI policy and FEMA.
