Govt names 10 states that reported the highest number of new COVID-19 deaths

As many as 794 coronavirus deaths were reported in India in the last 24 hours, out of which 10 states accounted for 86.78%. Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties (301), followed by Chhattisgarh (91). Punjab recorded 56 deaths, Karnataka 46, while Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh reported 42 and 36 deaths each. Further, Rajasthan saw 32 casualties.
