SBI Chairman CS Setty on Monday handed over a dividend cheque of ₹8,813 crore for FY26 to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, following the bank's strong financial performance. Last month, SBI's Central Board declared a dividend of ₹17.35 per equity share for the year ended March 31, 2026. Notably, the government holds nearly 55% stake in the country's largest lender.
