India is set to fast-track approvals for importing electronics parts, consumer goods, raw materials, and industrial components from China and other countries after a long pause triggered by the 2020 border tensions. With demand booming and supply shortages emerging post-GST cuts, New Delhi plans to accelerate Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certifications for foreign plants.
