Ministry of Minority Affairs has prepared a ₹1,000-crore redevelopment blueprint to transform high-value waqf properties across major Indian cities, a report by Hindustan Times said. IIT, Delhi is advising the ministry on the project that seeks to develop hospitals, commercial towers, educational institutions and housing complexes on waqf land, the report said.
