India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose to ₹1.96 lakh crore in July, up 7.5 per cent from the same month of the previous year, according to government data released on Friday. The rise was due to higher revenue from domestic transactions and imports, indicating steady economic activity, though at a slower growth pace than recent months.
