Indian sweets and snacks brand Haldiram's suffered a ransomware attack on its servers by hackers who allegedly stole financial data and other information and demanded $750,000 for decryption. Haldiram's said it filed a complaint in July itself when the attack happened, but the FIR was lodged in Noida only on October 14. "We have restored our data internally," said Haldiram's.
