Halep beats Venus Williams to set up clash with Serena Williams
World number one Romania's Simona Halep beat seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams at the Australian Open 2019 to set up a pre-quarterfinal clash with Venus' sister Serena Williams. Speaking about facing the 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena, Halep said, "It's going to be a bigger challenge, but I'm ready to face it."
