Gujarat Patidar leader Hardik Patel has announced plans to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Amid reports of Congress offering him two seats, state party president Amit Chavda said there has been "no official dialogue" on the issue. Hardik, who is likely to contest from Amreli, was not of eligible age to contest the Lok Sabha elections held in 2014.
