The Haryana government has decided to freeze Dearness Allowance (DA) of its employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners at current rate of 17% till July 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The state's finance department said the government will not pay the additional instalments due from January 1, 2020, July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021.
