India's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has called for reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate on two-wheelers to 18% from 28%. There's a need to reduce GST rate of two-wheelers from the bracket of luxury goods since they provide basic mobility to masses, the motorcycle manufacturer said. Hero MotoCorp recorded sales of over 80 lakh units last year.
