Pakistani lawmaker Sher Azam Khan said, "Hindus are our enemy", during a provincial assembly session. Khan, the member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa later issued an apology and said that he should have used the word "Hindustan" instead. The Speaker expunged Khan's remarks from the assembly proceedings.
