The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday allowed home delivery of alcohol in Mumbai amid lockdown, except in the city's COVID-19 containment zones. "E-commerce platforms may be utilised by the liquor shops permitted to do home delivery," said a BMC order. However, over-the-counter sale of liquor is still prohibited, said the civic body.
