CJI Ranjan Gogoi has said, "If Kolkata Police Commissioner even remotely thinks of destroying evidence, bring the material before this Court. We will come down so heavily on him that he will regret." Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar is alleged to have destroyed evidence in the Saradha chit fund cases. The SC will hear CBI's plea against Rajeev on Tuesday.
