IISc B'luru student's invention wins James Dyson Award 2021 in India

An invention by a student of Bengaluru's Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has won the national award at James Dyson Award 2021. LifeBox, invented by Deval Karia, is a portable system that can extend the out-of-body viable time of the heart in case of transplant surgeries. The national winner of the award receives a ₹1.90 lakh cash prize.
