IIT-Kharagpur graduate, Debayan Saha, has invented a device called "PM 2.5" which when fitted near the silencer in vehicles will curb air pollution. The device on one car can neutralise the pollution from 10 cars around it, Saha said. "The technology...uses a combination of electric and wave energy to influence pollutants...such that they act like magnets attracting other...pollutants," he added.
