The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will consider Ukraine's appeal for additional emergency funding of $1.3 billion, officials told Reuters news agency. IMF staff believe Ukraine has received enough financial assurances from foreign partners to meet the debt sustainability requirement. If sanctioned, the funds are expected to address food shortages in the country.
