Three Indian Navy ships operating in the Southern Indian Ocean were diverted to Mozambique's Port Beira, on the request of Mozambique government to provide humanitarian aid. This comes in the wake of the destruction caused by Cyclone Idai. The ships are likely to set up medical camps and provide food, water and other relief items, as required by local authorities.
