Ashim Mitra, an Indian-origin professor at US' University of Missouri-Kansas City reportedly used his students as his personal servants. Mitra reportedly told his students to look after his dog and water the house plants when he and his wife were away. One of his students said that he considered his life at the university as "nothing more than modern slavery".
