India's Mumtaz Khan has been announced the International Hockey Federation's (FIH) 'Rising Star of the Year' for 2021-22 in the women's category. The 19-year-old forward was the best performer for India at FIH Junior Women's World Cup 2022, scoring eight goals in six matches. France's Timothée Clement has won the award in the men's category.
