India's crude oil imports jumped 14% year-on-year in April to 19.72 million tonnes, the highest since October 2018, government data showed. Oil imports from Iran had fallen 57% year-on-year in April after waiver from US sanctions on Iran ended recently, Reuters reported. The government had earlier this month said it will decide on Iranian oil imports post elections.
