An IPS officer was injured when a group of people attacked a police team enforcing lockdown to control coronavirus spread in Bareilly, UP. Eight people have been arrested in connection to the incident that took place in Izzatnagar and left officer Abhishek Verma injured. Police had to resort to lathi-charge, said SP (City) Ravindra Kumar.
