Israel and Hamas made a last-minute hostage exchange deal and kept the ceasefire intact. The deal mandates the release of more than 600 Palestinian prisoners which were supposed to be released last week. Hamas confirmed on Wednesday that it will release the bodies of four more Israeli hostages on Thursday. The ceasefire came into effect on January 19.
