World's second-richest person and Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos has pledged to give away $1 billion in grants this year with a focus on conservation efforts. The pledge is part of the Bezos Earth Fund, which commits $10 billion to fight climate change. The grants will be used to "create, expand, manage and monitor protected and conserved areas," a statement said.
