Police said that a man, identified as Biplab Chowdhury, was apprehended with 16 gold biscuits worth around ₹1 crore at Tripura's Agartala airport on Wednesday. Chowdhury, who was at the airport to catch a flight to Kolkata, was allegedly carrying the gold biscuits in his luggage, police added. Chowdhury owns a jewellery store in Agartala, they said.
