Police said that a gang of thieves broke into a jewellery shop in Lucknow's Sarojininagar and stole ornaments worth over ₹15 lakh along with some cash. The incident took place at around 2 am on Tuesday, they said. The shop owner informed the police that 8.6 kg of silver jewellery, 215 grams of gold jewellery and ₹18,000 cash was stolen.
