The government committee on the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) faulty hip implant case has recommended ₹10 lakh additional compensation for those who had two revision surgeries. However, such patients who have already been reimbursed, will get ₹5 lakh. The committee recommended the additional compensation without making changes in the formula that was earlier approved for the quantum of compensation.
