A 24-year-old man, returning home with a buffalo, was allegedly beaten to death by cow vigilantes in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri. The victim, Aijaz Dar, and two others, who escaped with injuries, were on their way home at night after purchasing a buffalo when they were attacked. Police said that four of the accused have been identified.
