Addressing a convocation at a Delhi management college, former PM Manmohan Singh said that jobless growth along with "rural indebtedness and urban chaos have made aspirational youths restless". "Jobless growth is slipping into job-loss growth," he added. He further said that a major issue concerning employment is the gap between skills required by the industry and skill-sets that students possess.
