The duo of Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Abhishek Verma won India's first gold medal at Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Paris on Saturday. Jyothi and Abhishek defeated French pair of Sophie Dodemont and Jean Philippe Boulch 152-149 in the Compound Mixed Team final. Sports Authority of India (SAI) tweeted, "Superb effort! Heartiest congratulations."
