The release of Kangana Ranaut's 'Thalaivi', which was previously scheduled to release on April 23, has been postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 cases in the country. The makers announced the decision on Friday. "With an alarming rise in COVID-19 cases...we want to extend all the support towards government rules...and have decided to postpone [the] release," the statement read.
