Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar said that India could use Dinesh Karthik as a reserve opener for the ICC World Cup 2019. Gavaskar also picked wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant for the five-match ODI series at home against Australia next month. Speaking about the Indian team featuring three wicket-keepers, Gavaskar said, "If the team has three wicket-keepers, so be it."
