The Karwar Excise Department in Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, seized a large consignment of illegal Goa-origin liquor worth ₹1.14 lakh during an operation in the Mudgeri forest area. The transport vehicle was also confiscated, but the accused fled. A case has been registered, and investigation is underway to apprehend those responsible.
