A doctor was stopped from entering his flat in Edachira, near Kakkanad in Kerala on Monday. This comes a few days after a nurse was asked to vacate her apartment in the same building. Ernakulam district collector S Suhas took note of the issue and warned of stringent action against people and associations under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897.
