Kerala shuts sale of liquor at state-run stores amid COVID-19 lockdown

With all of India in lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus, Kerala has suspended the sale of liquor through state-run outlets till April 14. Kerala Excise Commissioner S Aananthakrishnan said that the Excise department has enhanced vigil against the chances of sale of spurious liquor as the liquor outlets were shut. Kerala has 118 coronavirus cases.
